This Veena duet video is indeed a rare find. Their playing is well recognized for their bhava and soukyam. They belog to the Tanjore school of Veena Playing. This was obtained from Sangeethapriya's member, Ramasundaram. A student of Veena should be exposed to all styles of playing. It is also desirable that the student also look for playing techiniques from other intsruments as well. Music is a way of life - a life long journey - that never ends and the joyous learning continues If I have left out any vainika, it is only because I don't have a video to post.
