Cricket Videos and cricket highlights clips

Cricket differs far more han basegball than I had previously thought... I'd like to she a full match sometime. But from watching several of these instructional videos I have gathered that baseball is far superior. Having baserunners makes more sense to me,(as well as having nine, three out innings) plus with major leaguers pitching at 100+mph and batters using a round bat it seems as if baseball is a bit more difficult.

The fielders change ends.. Why do you always see the field scatter after every over? They are swapping sides :O It's not the batsmen changing ends..

i'm from england, and I've always wanted to see a full length baseball game. my brother is in America and says it is boring though. i can never find a match on british tv, unlike american football

Well that's just a matter of opinion(which is never wrong), I personally prefer faster bowlers being 1 myself.

exactly, look at simon jones, he runs in from 10 paces and bowls 95mph, brett lee runs in from a million miles away and bowls 2mph quicker, work out y lee just put more emphasis into his action

mate, if you took time to read my whole comment you would realise that you're just repeating what im saying. i did not say that the pace of the delivery relies on the length of your run up alone.

It could be a bot misleading to say that the longer you run the faster you bowl, most people just run longer so they can get in rhythm prior to bowling as well as gain momentum.

I think you mean to ask if the batsmen switch ends at the end of the over. If so, then the answer is no, the next bowler bowls from the opposite end and the batsmen stay at their ends. Playing in streets or indoors, its usually more practically for batsmen to switch ends instead of the fielding team changing their whole field setting. Hope that made sense.

G'day , this could actually be a bit misleading. the distance run DOES NOT = Pace of Ball, although some runup is needed by the fastest bowlers , the distance varies a great deal while speed remains the same. If we look at all the world bowlers that bowl at 140KPH & up , 15 to 30 yards for runups is the norm.
