Okay, my comparison between the two: -Most homers go further than most sixes (90m or 295ft is an average six: clearing a wall in most ballparks would be +350ft at closest.) -The fact that bowlers can get to 150km/h or about 92mph without actually throwing isn't bad. -Cricketers learn to field better overall: the covers would require more range, baseball OF'ers have more work than cricket OF'ers and the DH sucks. The keeper fields a lot more than the catcher who has to call games.

Babe Ruth was a slugger. He hit balls further than any cricketer these days would (maybe Shahid Afridi, maybe Adam Gilchrist, maybe Chris Cairns) could hit.

Never heard of babe ruth..initially i thought you were referring to a Woman so i googled the name and went to images..its a dude!!..a very fat dude in pajamas!!..who played Baseball *cough* Rounders that the British invented for small children school-girls as a mild exercise to swing bat and run around bases, like hopscotch..its not for grown ups And this fat dude in pajamas playing a childs activity was voted americas best sportsperson of 20th Century??? I saw a gridiron game on an American channel once. I fell asleep after the first three minutes. I mean, the guy who throws the ball has to massage the snapper's genitals before he can get the ball. They wear ridiculously feminine clothing, and take a break every five seconds. The stupid thing was when a guy threw the ball, just once, and then ran over to the sideline to get an oxygen pumper, because running the width of one field was too strenuos for him.
