ryanoc thats a pretty strong but wrong statement saying his the best batsman. kp is a class act but he hasnt england the won cup..he hasnt scored a century against everyteam..he hasnt even got 10 hundreds yet his a long way to go to be in the same name as these greats..his good but when theres batsman like sangakarra..mohammad yousuf..ganguly...ponting,lara tendulkar and my fav vivian richards u gotta be good and kp u aint that good yet mate..cinsistency we will see in 5 years time where u r.

KP is clearly one of the best in the world, let alone England. Going on talent. Going by stats he is nothing at the moment, but his mammoth ODI average does show something, he scores a 50 every ODI! Thats amazing! If he stays for the next decade he will be remembered as one of the most destructive - on par with Ponting, Tendulkar and Lara...

I Think Pietersen Should Play The Way He Did In 2005 Against South Africa And Australia Because Now He's Not That Cocky As He was BAck Then.

For me Kevin Pietersen is one of the greatest england batsman of all time if not the best. The way he handles himself as a professional to me is outstanding.

I support the aussies, but i love watching Pietersen bat. He is not only a great batsman, but a great entertainer also. Cricket needs players like him. Its also such a shame to see Gilchrist retire.

Pietersen is fantastic. I love that shot against Gillespie where he comes charging down the wicket and somehow gets a front foot hook shot away for 6. What a superstar, he's going to go down as one of England's greatest batsmen by the end of his career. What a player.
