OH MY GOD! you dont understand anything do u???? I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT JUST BATTING. just coz he didnt get that many runs in the WC doesnt mean hes nothing ok?? I am talking about his CAPTAINCY. ok?? and also, IF he wasnt good at batting..would he have made more than 10,000 runs??? I THINK NOT. i dont know if u know or not but in many cases when to bat, where to place the fielders DOES MATTER. sometimes winning the toss can be EVERYTHING. ok??

Did you read my comment ? I ain't speaking of captaincy, I'm speaking of batting. What did he contribute as a captain in that WC2003 ? Decide whether to bat or to bowl at the toss, field placings and the batting order ? A captain gets credit when he leads from the front,example Imran Khan who lead from the front and won the WC for Pakistan in 1992. Not what Ganguly did in Wc2003, failing to do anything with the bat while his team mates helped India reach the finals.

Who is criticizing Ganguly ? All I'm saying is that he played a negligible role in India reaching the final of WC2003.

the reason why i am calling U an idiot is coz ur not even trying to understand what im saying.. its becuase of people like u that captains get critized if they make jus one simple mistake..if the team won then wow its sachins batting or bhajjis bowling or WHATEVER...no one looks at the captain then..and when there just one mistake..whos the one people like u blame?? the captain.

Oh really ? What did he do as a captain in the WC2003 ? India lost both the Test and ODI series in New Zealand before the WC2003. In that WC, India won it's first game against Holland where Ganguly again got out on single digits. And in the next match India lost to Australia shamefully and Ganguly, instead of coming down the order, demoted Sehwag down the order. The whole of India was baying for his head. At that time Sachin came out and asked them to keep patience.

Who is saying that Ganguly haven't contributed towards Indian cricket ? All I'm saying is that your comment about Indian team reaching Finals of WC 2003 because of Ganguly is hilarious simply because he didn't contribute anything with the bat for India in that tournament other than scoring those 3 tons against minnows.
